احمد علیہ السلام۔ سیرت و سوانح

اگر اس اشتہار کے بعد بھی کوئی شخص سچا طالب بن کر اپنی عقدہ کشائی نہ چاہے۔اور دلی صدق سے حاضر نہ ہو تو ہماری طرف سے اس پر اتمام حجت ہےجس کا خدا تعالیٰ کے روبرو اس کو جواب دینا پڑے گا

اس خط کے ساتھ جواشتہار اردو اور انگریزی میں شائع کیاگیا ان دونوں کامکمل متن درج ذیل ہے :

بسم اللّٰہ الرحمٰن الرحیم

اللّٰھم صلّ علٰی محمد و اٰل محمدٍ افضل الرسل و خاتم النبیین

اشتہار

کتاب براہین احمدیہ جس کو خدائے تعالیٰ کی طرف سے مؤلف نے ملہم و مامور ہو کر بغرض اصلاح و تجدید دین تالیف کیا ہے جس کے ساتھ دس ہزار روپیہ کا اشتہار ہے۔ جس کا خلاصہ مطلب یہ ہے کہ دنیا میں منجانب اللہ و سچا مذہب جس کے ذریعہ سے انسان خدا تعالیٰ کو ہریک عیب اور نقص سے بری سمجھ کر اس کی تمام پاک اور کامل صفتوں پر دلی یقین سے ایمان لاتا ہے وہ فقط اسلام ہے جس میں سچائی کی برکتیں آفتاب کی طرح چمک رہی ہیں اور صداقت کی روشنی دن کی طرح ظاہر ہو رہی ہے اور دوسرے تمام مذہب ایسے بدیہی البطلان ہیں کہ نہ عقلی تحقیقات سے اُن کے اصول صحیح اور درست ثابت ہوتے ہیں اور نہ ان پر چلنے سے ایک ذرہ روحانی برکت و قبولیت الٰہی مل سکتی ہے بلکہ ان کی پابندی سے انسان نہایت درجہ کا کورباطن اور سیہ دل ہو جاتا ہے جس کی شقاوت پر اسی جہان میں نشانیاں پیدا ہو جاتی ہیں۔

اس کتاب میں دین اسلام کی سچائی کو دوطرح پر ثابت کیا گیا ہے۔ (۱)اوّل تین سو مضبوط اورقوی دلائل عقلیہ سےجن کی شان و شوکت و قدر و منزلت اس سے ظاہر ہے کہ اگر کوئی مخالف اسلام ان دلائل کو توڑ دے تو اس کو دس ہزار روپیہ دینے کا اشتہار دیا ہوا ہے۔ اگر کوئی چاہے تو اپنی تسلّی کے لئے عدالت میں رجسٹری بھی کرالے۔(۲) دوم ان آسمانی نشانوں سے کہ جو سچے دین کی کامل سچائی ثابت ہونے کے لئے از بس ضروری ہیں اس امر دوئم میں مؤلف نے اس غرض سے کہ سچائی دین اسلام کی آفتاب کی طرح روشن ہو جائے۔ تین قسم کے نشان ثابت کر کے دکھائے ہیں۔ اول وہ نشان کہ جو آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانہ میں مخالفین نے خود حضرت ممدوح کے ہاتھ سے اور آنجناب کی دعا اور توجہ اور برکت سے ظاہر ہوتے دیکھے جن کو مؤلف یعنی اس خاکسار نے تاریخی طور پر ایک اعلیٰ درجہ کے ثبوت سے مخصوص و ممتاز کر کے درج کتاب کیا ہے۔ دوم وہ نشان جو خود قرآن شریف کی ذات با برکات میں دائمی اور ابدی اور بےمثل طور پر پائے جاتے ہیںجن کو راقم نے بیان شافی اور کافی سے ہر ایک خاص و عام پر کھول دیا ہے اور کسی نوع کا عذر کسی کے لئے باقی نہیں رکھا۔ سوم وہ نشان کہ جو کتاب اللہ کی پیروی و متابعت اور رسول برحق سے کسی شخص تابع کو بطور وراثت ملتے ہیں۔ جن کے اثبات میں اس بندہ درگاہ نے بفضل خداوند حضرت قادر مطلق یہ بدیہی ثبوت دکھلایا ہے کہ بہت سے سچے الہامات اور خوارق اور کرامات اوراخبار غیبیہ و اسرار لدنیہ و کشوف صادقہ اور دعائیں قبول شدہ کو جو خود اس خادم دین سے صادر ہوئی ہیں اور جن کی صداقت پر بہت سے مخالفین مذہب (آریوں وغیرہ) بشہادت رویت گواہ ہیں۔ کتاب موصوف میں درج کئے ہیں اور مصنف کو اس بات کا بھی علم دیا گیا ہے کہ وہ مجدد وقت ہے اور روحانی طور پر اس کے کمالات مسیح بن مریم کے کمالات سے مشابہ ہیں۔اور ایک کو دوسرے سے بشدت مناسبت و مشابہت ہے اور اس کو خواص انبیاء و رسل کے نمونہ پر محض بہ برکت متابعت حضرت خیر البشر و افضل الرسل صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ان بہتوں پر اکابر اولیاء سے فضیلت دی گئی ہےکہ جو اس سے پہلے گزر چکے ہیں۔ اور اس کے قدم پر چلنا موجب نجات و سعادت و برکت اور اس کے برخلاف چلنا موجب بعد و حرمان ہے۔ یہ سب ثبوت کتاب براہین احمدیہ کے پڑھنے سے کہ جو منجملہ تین سو جزو کے قریب۳۷جزو کے چھپ چکی ہے، ظاہر ہوتے ہیں اور طالب حق کے لیے خود مصنف پوری پوری تسلّی وتشفی کرنے کو ہر وقت مستعد اور حاضر ہے۔ و ذالک فضل اللّٰہ یوتیہ من یشاء ولا فخر والسلام علٰی من اتبع الھدیٰ اور اگر اس اشتہار کے بعد بھی کوئی شخص سچا طالب بن کر اپنی عقدہ کشائی نہ چاہے۔اور دلی صدق سے حاضر نہ ہو تو ہماری طرف سے اس پر اتمام حجت ہےجس کا خدا تعالیٰ کے روبرو اس کو جواب دینا پڑے گا بالآخر اس اشتہار کو اس دعاپر ختم کیا جاتا ہے کہ اے خداوند کریم تمام قوموں کے مستعد دلوں کو ہدایت بخش کہ تا تیرے رسول مقبول افضل الرسل محمد مصطفیٰ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اور تیرے کامل و مقدس کلام قرآن شریف پر ایمان لاویں اور اس کے حکموں پر چلیں تاکہ ان تمام برکتوں اور سعادتوں اور حقیقی خوشحالیوں سے متمتع ہو جاویں کہ جو سچے مسلمان کو دونوں جہانوں میں ملتی ہیں اور اس جاودانی نجات اور حیات سے بہرہ ور ہوں کہ جو نہ صرف عقبیٰ میں حاصل ہو سکتی ہے بلکہ سچے راستباز اسی دنیا میں اس کو پاتے ہیں۔بالخصوص قوم انگریز جنہوں نے ابھی تک اس آفتاب صداقت سے کچھ روشنی حاصل نہیں کی اور جس کی شائستہ اور مہذب اور بارحم گورنمنٹ نے ہم کو اپنے احسانات اور دوستانہ معاونت سے ممنون کر کے اس بات کے لئے دلی جوش بخشا ہے کہ ہم اُن کے دنیاو دین کے لئے دلی جوش سے بہبودی و سلامتی چاہیں۔تا ان کے گورے و سپید منہ جس طرح دنیا میں خوبصورت ہیں آخرت میں بھی نورانی و منوّر ہوں۔

فنسئل اللّٰہ تعالیٰ خیرھم فی الدنیا و الاٰخرۃ اللّٰھم اھد ھم و ایّدھم بروح منک واجعل لھم حظاً کثیرا فی دینک واجذبھم بحولک و قوتک لیومنوا بکتابک و رسولک وید خلوا فی دین اللّٰہ افواجا۔ آمین ثم آمین و الحمدللّٰہ ربّ العالمین –

TRANSLATION OF THE VERNACULAR NOTICE ON REVERSE

Being inspired and commanded by God, I have undertaken the compilation of a book named ‘‘Burahin-e-Ahmadia.’’ with the object of reforming and reviewing the religion, and have offered a revawrd of Rs. 10,000 to any one who would prove the arguments brought forward therein to be false. My object in this Book is to show that only true and the only revealed religion by means of which one might know God to be free from blemish, and obtain a strong conviction as to the perfection of His attributes is the religion of Islam, in which the blessings of truth shine forth like the sun, and the impress of veracity is as vividly bright as the day-light. All other religions are so palpably and manifestly false that neither their principles can stand the test of reasoning nor their followers experience least spiritual edification. On the contrary those religion, so obscure the mind and divest it of discernment that signs of future misery among the followers become apparent even in this world.

That the Muhammadan religion is the only true religion has been shown in this book in two ways (1st), By means of 300 very strong and sound arguments based on mental reasoning (their cogency and sublimity being inferred from the fact that a reward of Rs. 10,000 has been offered by me to any one refuting them, and from my further readiness to have this offer registered for the satisfaction of any one who might ask for it); (2) From these Divine signs which are essential for the complete and satisfactory proof of a true religion With a view to establish that Muhammadan religion is the only true religion in the world, I have adduced under this latter head 3 kinds of evidences (1) The miracles performed by the Prophet during his life time either by deeds or words which were witnessed by people of other persuasions and are inserted in this book in a chronological order (based on the best kind of evidences); (2), Th. marks which are inseparably adherent in the Al.Quran itself, and are perpetual and everlasting, the nature of which has been fully expounded for facility of comprehension (3), The signs which by way of inheritances devolve on any believer in the Book of God and the follower of the true Prophet. As an illustration of this, I, the humble creature of God, by His help have clearly evinced myself to be possessed of such virtues by the achieving of many unusual and supernatural deeds by foretelling future events and secrets, and by obtaining from God the objects of my prayers to all of which many persons of different persuasions like the Aryas, & c., have been eye-witness (A full description of these will be found in the said book).

I am also inspired that I am the Reformer of my time, and that as regards spiritual excellence, my virtues bear very close similarity and strict analogy to those of Jesus Christ, and in the same way as the distinguished chief of Prophets were assigned a higher rank than that of other Prophets. I also by virtue of being a follower of the August Person. (the benefactor of mankind, the best of the messengers of God) am favored with a higher rank than, that assigned to many of the Saints and Holy Personages preceding me. To follow my footsteps will be a blessing and the means of salvation whereas any antogonism to me will result in estrangement and disappointment, All these evidences will be found by perusal of the book which will consist of nearly 4800 pages of which about 592 pages have been published. I am always ready to satisfy and convince any seeker of truth. ‘‘All this is a Grace of God He gives it to whomsoever He likes and there is no bragging in this.’’ ’’Peace be to all the followers of righteousness!’’

If after the publication of this notice any one does not take the trouble of becoming earnest enquirer after the truth and does not come forward with an unbiased mind to seek it then my challenging (discussion) with him ends here and he shall be answerable to God.

Now I conclude this notice with the following prayer: Oh Gracious God! guide the pliable hearts of all the nations, so that they may have faith on Thy chosen Prophet (Muhammad) and on Thy holy Al.Quran, and that they may follow the commandments contained therein, so that they may thus be benefited by the peace and the true happiness which are specially enjoyed by the true Muslims in both the worlds, and may obtain absolution and eternal life which is not only procurable in the next world, but is also enjoyed by the truthful and honest people even in this world. Especially the English nation who have not as yet availed themselves of the sunshine of truth, and whose civilized, prudent and merciful empire has, by obliging us by numerous acts of kindness and friendly, treatment, exceedingly encouraged us to try our utmost for their welfare, so that their fair faces may shine with heavenly effulgence in the next We beseech God for their well being in this world and the next. Oh God! guide them and help them with Thy grace, and instil in their minds the love for Thy religion, and attract them with Thy power, so that they may have faith on Thy Book and Prophet, and embrace Thy religion in groups Amen! Amen!
